Yes.. Well I forgot the password to this site so finally called Reuben to ask what it was. So here we are. Another post after like 5 months. We are in the midst of getting ready to move down to the basement. Paul as we speak is putting the plumbing in. Always nice to have running water. It’s been the main focus for us right now. Being able to make it liveable before the 1st of November. We already have 3 tenants ready so we have to be out of here. It’s been a challenging yet exciting experience for us. Hard work put in by Paul, and sometimes me. Im getting good at insulating. Marley loves to come downstairs and see dad’s progress. Whenever she hears a loud noise such as the saw, she says “Daddy!”
Marley is 18 months old. Talking a bunch. It’s so fun to be able to communicate with her like that. Today she asked her grandma De jong if she could draw. Took awhile to understand but eventually we get it because she is patient with us and persistent. We are sad summer is gone and excited for winter time. No more wood stove this year.

What a great looking construction crew! We sure had fun even with the toe damaging dryer. I hope you will continue to post your progress. Even though were along ways away, I am living vicarously in your apartment.
